Office Hours:

Eastern Shore Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am through 4:30 pm. The office is closed between noon and 1:00pm for lunch. A practitioner is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a weeks in case of emergency.


Our staff will be happy to assist you in verifying your insurance coverage for an orthotic/prosthetic device. We accept Medicare and most major insurance coverage plans. If you are enrolled in a managed care program, you will need to verify that Eastern Shore Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. is an approved network provider. You will be required to pay your co-insurance as well as any unmet deductible amount at the time of service. We are happy to discuss charges and expected reimbursement amounts prior to the fitting and delivery of your device. Injured employees claiming Worker’s Compensation benefits must have prior authorization from their insurance carrier. No medical services will be provided without an authorization from the insurance adjuster handling your claim.

Physician’s Order:

We are called upon to provide orthotic and prosthetic devices by orthopedic physicians, vascular surgeons, neurologists, neurosurgeons, physiatrists (physical medicine), oncologists, as well physicians specializing in internal medicine.

Your physician must place an order for a medically necessary orthotic or prosthetic device. The order must be signed and dated by the physician and must include your name as well as a description of the device being ordered.


Payment is expected at the time of delivery unless other payment arrangements are made. The amount charged includes the measuring, casting and fitting of your devices as well as any adjustments within six months of the delivery date.

Assurance of Prompt and Quality Services:

Eastern Shore Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc. strives to provide each patient with quality prosthetic and orthotic services in a timely manner. Each patient is seen by ABC certified practitioners. Each prosthesis or orthosis is fabricated by highly skilled technicians. Most items are fabricated locally and each item is carefully inspected for defects before the item is approved for delivery. The average fabrication time for prosthetic devices is two to three weeks. The average fabrication time for orthotic devices is one to two weeks.
